Blawenburg's Old Ash Tree

This old ash tree has been around for about 250 years. Located in my front yard in East Blawenburg, its circumference is 14.25 feet and its diameter is 54.45 inches. Being that old means that Washington's troops marched right by it 240 years ago (June 25, 1778) on their way to the Battle of Monmouth. Who knows, maybe Molly Pitcher pored a little water on it to help it grow! Is this the oldest tree in Blawenburg? I think so, but I've not done a tree survey. Maybe someone reading this will know.
