The popular Blawenburg Cafe and Catering Company will close its doors on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Owners Rodney and Alicia Mitchell will continue the catering business at a Rocky Hill location. The building was built by Judge Cornelius Stryker in the 1830s when Blawenburg began to emerge as a village and has been home to many businesses over its history. We will explore this history in future blogs.
We thank the Mitchells for providing the village with good food, local art, and a place to meet with friends. We wish them much success as their business enters a new chapter.
